What is the process for a healthcare company who wants to align with Diversity Accords?

DA meets with the healthcare company and collaborates on the needs of the organization as it relates to their diversity supplier objectives. Much like strategic planning, forecasting and creating budgets, we are available to help establish the specifics of their objectives…ex: what % increase of diverse suppliers, supplier segmentation and in what segments is growth needed, internal and external education regarding supplier diversity, etc. Once established, we provide access to DA Net so that the healthcare company can identify the best diverse Members which will fulfill their objectives. If there are no current DA Net Members who fulfill their needs…DA proactively searches for and qualifies the sourced supplier(s).

What is the cost to a healthcare organization (Partner) interested in utilizing DA Net?

There is no cost to Partners for accessing DA Net and finding diverse suppliers. We view our company as a service which is driven by the hope that the Accords we build will result in better, more efficient and cost effective healthcare for all. Our revenues are generated by Diversity Accords Members.

What is the benefit to suppliers who become Members of Diversity Accords and are listed on DA Net?

Healthcare engagement opportunities, access to RFP’s that are may typically set aside for other suppliers, business development resources, enhanced market positioning ,networking, joint management of select procurement opportunities and access to ongoing consulting services…to name a few. For select suppliers, DA Net will also highlight their company, products & services.

What is the cost to a diverse supplier who joins Diversity Accords?

There is no application fee. There is no membership fee. Once registered with DA Net, potential Members have 2 choices as to their membership:

  1. Basic - $50 charged to Member twice a year ($100 total) for online update or verification of business status, plus 2.5% commission to Diversity Accords based on GS.
  2. Advanced - $2,500 invoiced to Member once a year for favorable position on Diversity Accords website (rotating company logo, company highlight on homepage, positioning and designation on DA Net, etc), plus 2% commission to Diversity Accords based on GS. No charge for bi-annual online update or verification of business status.


Does Diversity Accords compete with agencies that provide certifications or diversity database products?

No. We applaud all agencies and / or entities that support the advancement of diversity in the supply chain in any form or business construct. We view ourselves as a complementary resource which helps to facilitate a proactive bridge to minority procurement solutions. We are unique in that we focus on Partnering with large healthcare companies who are searching for the best diverse suppliers available. One of our greatest assets is our commitment to one domain…healthcare.
